Jill Louise Campbell
Born in Canada 1951
Jill’s command of the positive and exuberance of life through a romanced fairytale interpretation of her home surroundings and travels to Italy, France, Ireland, India and Tibet. She was deeply influenced by Marc Chagall. Her whimsy has a depth that resonates at a soul level. Home, a small island off the west coast of Canada feeds her reverence with nature.
Her medium is watercolour, gouache, oil, and a mixed media of gold leaf, fabric, and pen and ink.
” East Meets West “ a collection of photographs and paintings of Japan and the West Coast of Canada.
” South West “ a collection of paintings from The American South West. Landscapes and adobe dwellings.
” Tibet “ a collection of paintings and photographs from Lhasa strongly influenced by her Buddhist inquiry.
” The Pilgrimage Begins” a collection of paintings rendered as a result of a 150km walk on the ancient Chemin St Jacques path in Languedoc France.
” India “ a collection of paintings and photographs focusing on the people, architecture, and holy places in Varanasi, Haridwar, and Rajasthan.

” France ” mainly Provence as a result of living for 10 months in a tiny farming hamlet, and The Languedoc regions.

” Native North West ” influenced by the Native culture and Totems found in ancient settlements on the north coast of British Columbia and Alaska.
